Program Details

10 Month Full Time Competitive

Fully comprehensive Slopestyle & Superpipe Program designed for athletes Competing at the Canada Cup and NorAm Cup levels.

Athletes in this Program will be looking to pursue either one or both disciplines at the competitive level with hopes of one day being invited to one or more of the Canadian National Team programs. Summer/off season training time will be spent focussed on Strength and conditioning, Acrobatic skills on trampoline and as much Air Bag and Dry Slope training as possible. This season we will focus heavily on off snow maintenance and recovery as well as mental health and fitness. Technical development will follow a very structured curriculum that optimizes technical development and competitive success while minimizing preventable injury. This programming strategy has proven successful with multiple Athletes having moved up to the Canadian NextGen team over the past 7 years. We will still have plenty of days where we have fun and express the athletes individual creativity. All Programs are primarily weekday training focussed in order to encourage kids to be kids and enjoy their weekends, when they're not away or competing. Athletes best suited to this program will either be done high school or be students of NSS. (If you're looking to apply for enrolment in to NSS please don't hesitate to ask for assistance.)
